Welcome to the Privacy Policy for SecureWipe. SecureWipe is designed as a powerful privacy tool available 100% free of charge for all Android users globally. There are no hidden fees, premium tiers, or subscriptions.

We are fully committed to protecting your privacy. Because our app's sole purpose is the total and permanent erasure of device data for your personal security (such as before selling or recycling your phone), our privacy stance is absolute: we do not collect, monitor, store, or transmit any of your personal data.

2. Data Collection and Usage (Zero Data Policy)

SecureWipe operates completely locally on your Android device. It uses algorithms to systematically overwrite your device's storage with multiple passes of binary data to ensure previously deleted files, app records, and hidden folders are entirely unrecoverable.

No External Servers: We do not upload, transmit, or back up any of your data to external servers or cloud services.
No Analytics or Tracking: The app does not integrate any third-party tracking, telemetry, or behavioral analytics software.

3. Required Device Permissions

To function securely and successfully overwrite all available space on your device, SecureWipe requires specific permissions upon launch. These permissions are used strictly for local data erasure:

All Files Access / Full Storage Permission: Required to access your Android device's internal storage (and external SD card, if applicable) to write random binary data (`0`s and `1`s) until memory is full, and to permanently delete residual application data and hidden files.
Administrator / Root Access (Optional/Conditional): To thoroughly wipe locked system caches and deep application data across all apps, SecureWipe may request elevated privileges. This is exclusively used to perform the data wiping process.

4. User Consent and Warning Acknowledgment

Upon launching SecureWipe, you are presented with a mandatory home page warning: "Please delete all existing data from the phone or move your data to a different device." By proceeding past this popup and initiating the wiping process, you give explicit consent for the app to begin its multi-pass overwrite protocol.

SecureWipe is a standalone utility. It does not contain links to third-party websites, nor does it share any device state information with external vendors.

6. User Responsibility and Liability Limitation
